Terms & Conditions
Clear terms, thoughtfully presented.
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to transport services provided by Reign Transportation, including private chauffeur services, airport transfers, corporate and VIP transport, event transport and school transport, unless separate written terms have been expressly agreed. A confirmed quotation, booking, transport agreement or written confirmation forms part of the agreement.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A booking becomes binding once Reign Transportation has confirmed it in writing or electronically. The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including passenger names where required, collection and destination details, dates, times, flight details, number of passengers, luggage requirements and any information reasonably necessary for safe transport.
Changes are subject to availability and may affect the price. For school transport, permanent changes to route, address, school, schedule or transport package may require a revised quotation.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in the quotation or booking confirmation and include or exclude VAT only as indicated there. Additional waiting time, extra stops, parking, tolls, changes requested by the customer or other agreed additional services may be charged where applicable.
Payment must be made within the period stated on the invoice or booking confirmation. For recurring or school transport, the agreed payment schedule applies. If a consumer payment is overdue, Reign Transportation will follow any mandatory statutory reminder procedure before charging statutory collection costs or taking further measures.
4. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation conditions may differ by service and will be stated in the quotation, booking confirmation or specific transport agreement. Where no specific cancellation arrangement has been agreed, Reign Transportation will assess any reasonable costs already incurred and capacity reserved, subject always to mandatory consumer law.
If Reign Transportation cancels a confirmed service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the customer is entitled to repayment or credit for the part of the service not provided, as applicable.
For school transport, absence of a child does not automatically create a right to a refund where a reserved place and transport capacity remain available, if this has been agreed in the applicable school transport arrangement.
5. Waiting times, delays and no-shows
Customers and passengers must be ready at the agreed collection time. Reasonable waiting arrangements may differ by service. Airport pickups may take account of flight information where available.
Traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, security measures, flight disruption, school congestion and other circumstances outside Reign Transportation’s reasonable control may affect travel or arrival times. Reign Transportation will use reasonable efforts to provide the service safely and as agreed but cannot guarantee an exact arrival time where circumstances outside its reasonable control intervene.
A no-show or failure to be available at the agreed place and time may be treated as a cancellation where reasonable and in accordance with the agreed booking conditions.
6. Passenger safety and conduct
Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions from the driver and wear seat belts where required. Children must use legally required or agreed safety arrangements. Parents or guardians must provide information reasonably necessary for the safe transport and handover of a child.
Passengers must not behave in a manner that endangers the driver, vehicle, other passengers or road safety. Reign Transportation may refuse or discontinue a journey where this is reasonably necessary for safety, subject to applicable law.
7. Luggage and personal belongings
The customer must disclose unusual, oversized or excessive luggage requirements before the booking is confirmed. Passengers remain responsible for their personal belongings. Reign Transportation will take reasonable care but is not responsible for loss or damage that was not caused by a failure to exercise legally required care.
8. Subcontractors and replacement vehicles
Where reasonably necessary, Reign Transportation may use a suitably qualified subcontractor, partner driver or replacement vehicle to perform a service, provided this does not reduce the customer’s mandatory legal rights. Reign Transportation remains responsible to the extent required by law and the agreement.
9. Liability
Reign Transportation will exercise the care reasonably expected from a professional transport provider. Liability is determined by the agreement and applicable Dutch law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer rights. Reign Transportation is not liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent such exclusion is legally permitted.
10. Distance contracts and right of withdrawal
If a consumer concludes an agreement at a distance, for example online, by email or by telephone, and Dutch consumer law grants a right of withdrawal, the consumer generally has 14 days from conclusion of the service agreement to withdraw without giving a reason.
If the consumer expressly requests that the service starts during the withdrawal period, a proportionate amount may be payable for services actually supplied before withdrawal. If the service has been fully performed during that period in circumstances where the statutory right of withdrawal lawfully expires, the mandatory statutory rules apply.
11. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with Reign Transportation’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. For school transport, this may include information concerning a child where reasonably necessary for planning, communication, safe transport and handover.
12. Complaints
Questions or complaints should first be submitted to Reign Transportation using the contact details published on the website or provided in the booking documentation. Reign Transportation will seek to resolve complaints reasonably and promptly.
13. Changes to these Terms
Reign Transportation may update these Terms for future bookings. Material changes to an existing fixed-term agreement do not automatically apply unless agreed or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
14. Applicable law and mandatory rights
Dutch law applies. Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to defective performance, termination, refunds, jurisdiction, unfair contract terms or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Contact
